Why hide?
Why run in disguise?
Your heart is open wide
Your eyes unravel what’s inside
There are signal flares for the night
And the sun for the broad daylight
Not even mist or clouds can obstruct
When God sees secrets so deeply tucked
There are masks not worth wearing
Pretensions deserve some undoing
The truth can make us bleed
But the truth will set us free.
